How I Filled out the Korean Visa Application Form as a Student

First you must have a passport size id picture, white background.

*Write in BLOCK letters. CAPS LOCK GALIT DAPAT.

*You must fill the form completely and correctly, just to be sure what i did was to write N/A on every item that was not applicable to me.

*Huwag kabahan, papel lang yan bes pwede ka ulit mag print pag nagkamali.

SECTION 1

1.1 Your Full English Name (Family Name then Given Name)

MAGALPOK | ANTONIO

1.2 If you don’t have a Korean name just write N/A

1.3 Check your Sex. [ ] Once a week [ ] Twice CHAROT.

1.4 You Date of Birth in this format (YEAR/MM/DD)

1.5 Write FILIPINO if you are.

1.6 If you were born here write PHILIPPINES. *unleashing pia wurtzbach in me*

1.7 Write N/A because we don’t have a National Identity No. Identity crisis meron charot

1.8 For Girls, if you are now married and you have travelled to Seoul when you were still single, check Yes, and write your maiden name. For Guys and for those who are still single, check No, and write N/A in Family/Given Name. (para sure lang, walang mawawala)

1.9 Are you a citizen of more than one country, if you are ang taray mo hahaha check mo yung Yes. Since ako pure Filipino citizen, i checked NO and wrote N/A below.

After, HUWAG SULATAN ang for official use only.

SECTION 2. Wala rin akong sinulat doon. (This is only for those who possess confirmation of visa issuance issued by the Immigration Office of the Republic of Korea.)

SECTION 3. Ito star ka na ulit

3.1 Check mo yung applicable, since regular citizen lang naman ako sa Philippines, i checked REGULAR para sa may mga Maroon na Passport. Then wrote N/A below sa ‘Other’

3.2 Passport Number inside your Philippine Passport

3.3 Write the country of your Passport: PHILIPPINES

3.4 So this one depends on what is written also in your passports, if you applied in DFA MANILA then write it down, for me DFA NCR NORTHEAST.

3.5 and 3.6 is also inside your passport. Easy Breezy.

3.7 Since I don’t have any other valid passport i checked NO, then i wrote N/A below and with the letters B,C,D

SECTION 4.

4.1 Address in your Home Country:

4.1 Write if it is a different address from your home country. (Ang ginawa ko since isa lang naman talaga address namin, sinulatan ko na pareho para sure.)

4.3 Provide a working cellphone number bes, malay mo soulmate mo yung tumawag char

4.4 Telephone number nyo, pag wala write N/A

4.5 Write your email address

4.6 Emergency Contact Info, write mo sino guardian mo, i wrote my Dad’s info.

SECTION 5.

5.1 Since single ako i checked [ ] Never Married

5.2 I wrote N/A from letters a to e

SECTION 6.

6.1 Depending kung ano ang natapos mo, i checked [ ] Bachelors Degree and wrote N/A dun sa may ‘Other’ pls provide details

6.2 I wrote the name of my school where i graduated college.

6.3 Your School’s address in this format (city/province/country) QUEZON CITY / METRO MANILA / PHILIPPINES

SECTION 7.

7.1 Since I currently am a student i checked [ ] Student wrote N/A on the ‘Other’ part.

7.2 Wrote the info of my current University.

SECTION 8.

8.1 If you have someone sponsoring you for the visa, like for example you know someone a citizen in Korea and they invited you, you will write their name. Or maybe a company.

SECTION 9.

9.1 Check what’s applicable for you, but since i will be just traveling i checked [ ] Tourism/Transit you may also check [ ] Other and then put the reason, for my experience i checked Other and then put shopping LOL

9.2 your Date of Stay, since may ticket na ako i wrote how many days 6 (SIX)

9.3 Intended date of Entry

9.4 You can write UNDECIDED naman kung wala pa kayo talagang na book na hotel, but if alam mo na may titirhan na kayo write it down.

9.5 Undecided din ang nilagay ko

9.6 Since this will be my first time to Korea i checked [ ]No and N/A Below

9.7 Sulat mo dito yung pinaka latest mong napuntahan na country, dapat within 5 years range lang.

SINGAPORE | TOURISM | 2015/02/09 (year/month/day)

9.8 So if you are traveling with your family, like Asawa, Mom, Dad, Sister and Brother write their names. Family members lang ha, kahit ang kasama mo boyfriend mo hindi mo naman siya family member kaya wag mo sya ilalagay. In my case i am with my sister.

SECTION 10

10.1 Since mahal daw ang cost of living sa Seoul, gusto nila malaman magkano baon mong pera. In my case i wrote 800$ since 6 days kami dun, some will write 1000$ depending on gaano katagal ang stay nila.

10.2 If you will provide your own travel expenses write your name below, for myself i wrote my Mom’s details since sa kanyang Bank Statement din yung bibigay kong papers.

SECTION 11.

11.1 I think this section is for senior citizens and babies since they need help in filling out the form, in my case no one helped me writing the form so i checked [ ] No and N/A on all the spaces provided.

SECTION 12.

I signed at the top of the (Signature of Applicant) but on the left side beside the / / / (3 slash) inside the slash i wrote the date example :

(I SIGNED HERE) 2017/02/14

For the line signature of parent, that is if you are 17 years old below.

** REMEMBER that this is not an official guide, this is just my experience and i got approved so i am just sharing it.
